Although this title may seem trivial, animal cruelty is a very serious and growing issue both locally and globally. Our documentary's purpose is to provide the audience with insight to this serious problem, and show our viewers that animal cruelty happens far more often than one would think. As shocking as it may seem, animal cruelty happens every day in our society, but sadly not everyone is aware of this, nor prepared to tackle the task of putting an end to it. Not only will our documentary present the audience with the growing percentages of neglected and abused animals in our community, but it will also show several local examples. Luckily, there is a way to prevent this growing trend of abuse. Our documentary will provide several easy and pragmatic solutions to stopping animal cruelty. By raising awareness against this severely growing problem, we can hopefully motivate our audience to rise up in our community and finally put an end to animal cruelty for good.
